During my stay in Loir-et-Cher with the Logis, I had the opportunity to have lunch at the Auberge de la Caillère, classified as a distinguished table. A classification that did not know well but now located to locate the good tables;) In fact, the distinction is given to recognized gastronomic tables, which raise the art of the table to its highest level of excellence offering services, service and hospitality that guarantee a unique experience ¹.

And this description fits perfectly with the Auberge de La Caillère in Candé-sur-Beuvron, where I had an excellent gastronomic moment in a cozy and charming environment. We were lucky to have a table next to the open fireplace; It was still cold when I was there, so it was more than nice ^^, to have a good time with the bloggers 🙂

I opted for the Passion menu at € 70, in 4 courses, as well as snacks and cheese cart. A very interesting quality / price ratio for the quality of the dishes offered and the very fair preparations. To make you salivate and make you want to discover the restaurant, here is the menu in photos:

Lobster of Brittany – Juste Rôti, artichokes, apple, saffron "Heart of the Loire Valley", pig veil, cardinal

Starters and fish, special mention for lobster, absolutely fabulous, married to a thin slice of cold meats … I would have taken a second course ^^

For the rest, I opted for veal rice, crispy on the outside and melting on the inside as I like it, but I must admit that I barely tasted the delicious mash that accompanied it, everything is very well served ^^ That did not stop me from squinting at The lamb chair on my neighbor's plate, did you see how it rose well?

If you still have a small place, it is that you will have missed breakfast, which I recommend, not like me ^^, a magnificent cheese cart will extend its arms with the beautiful specialties of the region but also the essentials of all of France.

Tangerine

For dessert, I chose the lightness of tangerine, a very good idea, very light, without too much sugar and full of freshness. In short, the restaurant, the professional and friendly service and the absolutely delicious food seduced me.
