Chocolate and caramel brownie – Easy cake recipe

For caramelized hazelnuts

For the brownie

  • 300 g caramel chocolate Nestle
  • 100 g dark chocolate to bake
  • 250 g Butter
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • one sachet vanilla sugar
  • 6 egg
  • 150 g flour sifted
  • Put the 100 g of powdered sugar and water in a saucepan and boil WITHOUT SHAKING. Let the caramel take a nice amber color and then, out of the heat, add the hazelnuts and mix well to cover them with caramel.

  • Pour the entire preparation on a silicone mat and spread well to have a single layer of hazelnut. Let cool completely.

  • Meanwhile, break the chocolates into small pieces and gently melt them in a double boiler. Mix to smooth and then add the softened butter into pieces. Mix well until the butter melts completely and the mixture is homogeneous.

  • In a large bowl, beat the sugar and vanilla sugar with the eggs, beating vigorously (stir the eggs one at a time to make it easier); The mixture should turn white and foamy.

  • Add the previously sifted flour, then the chocolate apparatus. Mix gently. Crush the caramelized hazelnuts (the easiest way is to put everything in a bag, close well and then hit it with a roller. Add the crushed hazelnuts to the appliance.

  • Pour the preparation into its mold lined with parchment paper and bake at 180 ° C for 30 minutes. Let cool on a rack and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 night.
