Soon on Valentine's Day, even if I'm not a big fan of this "party", I like to imagine one or more recipes for the occasion every year, it's still fun and, after all, pink is my favorite color (it's Do you see no? ^^). So I started with a really simple but effective recipe for pink praline cookies!
This recipe delighted my man and his work colleagues … I still ensured quality control for the blog (yes, I have the spirit of sacrifice), the verdict is dictated: I keep this base for me the following cookies! They are to die for … very soft in heart and at the same time crispy on the outside.
As I had to make 2 batches to feed all these gourmets, I made the second one with white chocolate chips with strawberries (vanilla department of the brand), we stay well on the subject and allow to have 2 cookie flavors 😉
ingredients: (for about 24 cookies)
180 g semi-salted butter at room temperature
120 g brown sugar
2 sachets of vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla liquid extract
240 g flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
150 g of pink chocolates
Beat the soft butter with brown sugar and vanilla sugar.
Then add the egg and vanilla extract.
Add the flour and baking powder and mix with a wooden spoon.
Crush the pink pralines (I put them in an airtight bag and hit them with a roller, fast and efficient!).
Incorporate the pink pralines into the dough evenly.
Place in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Form walnut-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Space the cookies about 4-5 cm away, staggered as they will spread when baking. Smash them lightly with the palm of your hand.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes (variable time depending on the oven). When they leave the oven, the cookies are still soft, that's normal! Wait until they are warm before handling them. They will be crispy on the outside and still tender at heart.
