The traditional Alsatian dish!
Well, we continue in the winter dishes, since the cold still does not decide to let us go (there is even snow still …). I'm getting very tired, I bought beautiful dresses and sandals and I can't even wear them. I want the sun !!!!
Meanwhile, there is sauerkraut! An ultra easy recipe (it cooks alone) and especially fast in the pressure cooker (it doesn't need 7 hours of cooking!). I only put 3 types of meat because we are only two, but you can add more: kassler, Strasbourg sausage, ham, etc. The real sauerkraut, which you can try in Alsatian restaurants, has no less than 7 different meats!
Preparation time: fifteen minutes
Cooking time: one time twenty minutes
Total time: one time 35 minutes

Finely chop the onions and shallots. Brown them in the pressure cooker. When they are well browned, place the bacon in the bottom of the pan.
Rinse the sauerkraut in clean water and place half on the bacon. Divide some juniper berries and sprinkle with half a teaspoon of cumin and half a teaspoon of coriander powder.
Place the smoked lollipop on the sauerkraut and then add the rest of the sauerkraut.
Put the rest of the juniper berries, spices, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with beer and water.
Close the pan and cook for 1 hour after the first whispers. When the time has passed, open the pan, place the potatoes and close immediately. Cook for 20 more minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the sausages in boiling water. Serve while presenting meat and sauerkraut in a bowl.
